Q2. Is this a stand-alone machine or does it need to be built into a line?

It runs as a stand-alone automated dispensing system rather than as a section of a production line. Parts are loaded by hand onto the platform, the machine prepares and doses each shot itself, and finished parts come off the same platform, so there is no conveyor, feeder or downstream handling to coordinate. There is no line to stop and no conveyor to synchronise, which keeps startup and changeover simple.

Q3. What maintenance does the material path need between shifts?

Keep the two sides apart and keep them moving. Flush the mixing and dispensing path before the adhesive reaches the end of its pot life, and make sure A and B only meet at the mix point, because mixed material left sitting in a line is what hardens and blocks a nozzle. At shift handover, leave the tanks, lines and mix point in a condition the next operator can start from cleanly.

Q4. How much skill does running this machine day to day take?

Day-to-day operation is loading parts and starting a stored job; the setup work happens once, when a program is taught for each product and the process parameters are fixed. Q5. Can one machine run several different products?

Yes.
